Passive RFID

Passive RFID systems utilise unpowered passive tags in conjunction with antennas to provide the most reliable identification method available to industry. Pacific Automation distributes RFID Inc’s R3 (R cubed) and R32 (R cubed 2) passive RFID products throughout Australia. Also available is the SimpleTag range of high frequency (13.56 MHz) Smart Labels.

R3 – 148 kH

The R3 range focuses on rough, tough industrial applications. It runs at a frequency of 148 Khz and has a read range from several inches to several feet.

Application of the R3 range includes:

  • Long travel positionig systems for stackers and reclaimers
  • Tote / pallet / carrier identification of your widgets through production
  • Mold / tool identification
  • Automated guided vehicles
  • Truck / fleet tracking

R32 – 125 kH

The R3 range focuses on rough, tough industrial applications. It runs at a frequency of 148 Khz and has a read range from several inches to several feet.

RFID Inc’s Passive RFID solution, R32 (R Cubed 2) stands for Rapid, Robust & Reliable, three characteristics that are critical in RFID applications.

The R32 product is available with a number of interfaces including serial, ethernet, Profibus, Devicenet and Modbus. Up to 32 antennas can be connected to each reader which allows for simple installation and programming.

SimpleTag – 13.56 MHz

SimpleTag is our market’s least expensive Tag and also offers Smart Label technology with anti-collision capabilities. Based on 13.56 Mhz technologies, SimpleTag is focused on providing inexpensive Tag solutions with moderately priced Readers. The entire line is CE certified and FCC approved.
